Reflection from September 22, 2007 @ 26 Yrs

I think that my presence is so intense at times that others may find that I’m difficult to be around.  I read today about how those who are mentally ill are treated as criminals and not human beings deserving of help and support.  My life is a testament to this idea.  I have found in my “mental illness” more and more everyday that amidst my consequential spiritual enlightenment, that it is tempting for others to write me off as “crazy”.  But in doing so, they are not even promoting their own self-development, but rather shielding themselves from that which they are not yet ready to see.  But alas, in my state, I do not have the luxury of that choice.  I see the truth and I’m drawn to it like the moth to a flame.
